We are pleased to announce that Silver Mountain Software Inc., Canada’s premier retail cellular software developer, has acquired the exclusive rights to the Abacus II Accounting software from Intellisol International.

Silver Mountain Software has extensive experience in the development of vertical market software, utilizing the Abacus II software as the back office accounting system.

The Abacus II Software acquisition will allow Silver Mountain Software to offer it’s new and existing customers a higher level of quality service and product, including a planned migration of the entire product to a 32-bit Windows based environment.

We’re excited about this opportunity as our company has over 15 years experience with Abacus as both a reseller and vertical market developer. Over the last 10 years Silver Mountain Software has successfully developed Telmax (a software package specifically designed for the cellular telephone retail market), thus receiving recognition as the Canadian industry standard for retail cellular accounting software.

This sale facilitates Silver Mountain Software to ensure our commitment to further develop, enhance and maintain the Abacus Accounting Software System for our customers.

Silver Mountain Software will continue to issue payroll and program updates as well as provide technical support to all Abacus clients.
